RSVP ASAP so I can coordinate how much food we'll need and other housing logistics. I can make rounds and pick people up at their homes or we can all meet at Hunter Park and carpool from there, whatever makes most sense. My plan is to head to the Alabaster Caverns and explore them. See the only gypsum show cave in the United States. That cave tour is $10/person but there are also caves we can explore on our own. Do some light hiking. Make a fire and camp out with the whole meat on a spit and smores shebang. Head out in morning to the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is the only known site in the world where unique selenite crystals with hourglass inclusions are found. Visitors are encouraged to bring shovels and dig some up, which I will fully take advantage of. Head back to home sweet Tulsa. What to bring? Well, I'll bring: a tent, a hammock, a sleeping bag, a shovel, blankets, and food. See links below for venue details: Alabaster Cave Salt Plain
