Our 15 passenger van will be leaving downtown Asheville (Patton Ave Parking Lot) on Sunday April 21 at 4pm. Shuttles run to and from downtown Asheville and Pisgah forest every two hours. We'll be making stops at the Ranger Station, Looking Glass Falls, and Looking Glass Rock Trailhead, Looking Glass Falls again, then back downtown.
Looking Glass Falls is an easy hike which requires no effort. Looking Glass Rock is a more difficult 6.5 mile round trip trail that climbs 1700 feet and has amazing views. Allow a few hours for this one and make sure you take enough food. The Ranger Station has restrooms and a few hikes and running trails that visitors can enjoy along with a river and various streams.
We'll have water from Blue Mountain Water, meats from Hickory Nut Gap Farm, cheeses from Looking Glass Cremery, and other local snacks for sale on the shuttle.
There is a liability waiver to sign and a 'Wheels Up Policy' acknowledgement. We will do our best to accommodate for anyone who hasn't made a returning shuttle by contacting them via cell phone and alerting the ranger station.
