We are all feeling the pain of a divided world. We want to do something to make a change ... but what? The weight of the work that needs to be done can be immobilizing. Still, there are heroes all around us who are making change happen. Come hear about them at Unity Night on May 4th, 2019. If you wish, join us at 6:00pm for a pot-luck dinner. Bring a dish to pass as we come together to build friendships over a warm meal. Later, around 7 pm, enjoy “One Song Hero” with long-time friend, Charlotte Clarke. Charlotte will highlight poignant moments of her 14 years producing and hosting her nationally recognized multicultural public affairs program, “Many Voices, Many Visions” where she brought our own community heroes into the public eye. Charlotte was the Community Affairs Director at WHAM-TV for almost 25 years. Today, she continues to do work for radio, TV, and corporate productions and is especially passionate about public speaking in the field of diversity. We hope you will join us as Charlotte moves us with her experiences showcasing diversity in our own Rochester community and inspires us to re-imagine ourselves as everyday heroes who walk this Earth together on a path of service.
