Okay, this is starting to sound like a "vintage" scratched record in regard to another rainy weekend. And yes, it looks like we should catch a break from the rain on Monday evening. Cox is still looking beautiful and in nearly full bloom! That being said, if we get all the rain predicted over the weekend, there will be mud on the trails again, so you may want to wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy or your hiking boots. One of these days, the trails are going to dry out! It might also be nice to have a jacket on hand just in case it ends up being a bit cool, and some rain gear just in case. Cox Arboretum has some hills but not too steep. You may want to bring a bottle of water and a headlamp or flashlight since it may get dusk while we are hiking. This will be approximately a 3.5 mile hike at a BRISK PACE (approximately 3 - 3.3 mph). The Legal Stuff: Your hike leader is just a fellow member volunteer.
