Kundalini meditation/yoga class calms and strengthens the nervous system. In today's world where stress catches on faster than the eye can see or the mind can perceive, meditation is not a luxury. It is a necessity. Come join us for this informative class that is great for beginners interested in learning meditation, sound/vibrations techniques. In any class Kundalini Yoga classes, you can expect to find six major components: 1. Tuning-in with the Adi Mantra – Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo 2. Pranayama and / or warm-ups (ex. cat/cow, spinal flex) 3. Kriya (yoga set) 4. Meditation usually with mantra 5. Deep relaxation or savasana with a gong sound bath. A gong bath is a form of sound therapy where the gong is played to bring about relaxation. The term gong bath means that you are bathed in sound waves, there is no water involved, or clothes removed. 6. Close with the blessing song and a cup of tea. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a towel or yoga mat. If you would rather not sit on the floor, chairs will be available.
