Hello there! We'd like to welcome you to the free weekly meditation meetings which take place at the Fort Bend County Libraries - University Branch 14010 University Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479 Every Wednesday, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm With Sahaja Yoga Meditation we generally sit on chairs to achieve Yoga, effortlessly & spontaneously. As such no asanas (exercises) are required, no mat or special clothing. All across the globe, many are seeking new sources of energy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy of all is hiding in plain sight, within us. It's natural, sustainable, and infinitely renewable. It's called inner kundalini energy. And everyone already has it — everyone! It is often likened to an inner feminine or motherly energy which automatically knows about us and what is needed to help us restore balance and harmony within our subtle being. It works spontaneously, effortlessly, organically, and cannot be paid for. Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple, time-honored technique that lets you tap into that energy and harness its power to become better balanced and better connected to yourself — emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. If you're having trouble juggling the challenges in your life, Sahaja Yoga Meditation might well help you manage stress, master your emotions and find solutions to your problems. You may enjoy better health, better focus, and a deeper understanding of the universe and your place in it. Meditation is not just for mystics and monks. Sahaja Yoga meditation is for everyone. Anyone can do it. It's that easy. But with the Sahaja Yoga experience, you'll quickly realise, it isn't your typical "Meditations 'R Us" type class. It's much more than just feeling peaceful and relaxed. Sahaja Yoga Meditation has many layers, varied and deep. Explore at your own pace, in your own way. Our volunteer experts are always available to help. Ready to plug into your inner energy? A Sahaja Yoga Meditation class is a great way to start. A few minutes of your life may be all it takes to connect to your inner energy and light the path to lifelong transformation. Sahaja Yoga is more than a temporary solution or quick relief — it is a journey, rather than a destination. It's all about energy — guaranteed pure and carbon neutral. You can never have too much of it. The best part? All classes are free. No strings, no catch. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, bring your self — all are welcome. Beneficial and instructive for both beginners and the experienced. No prior reservation is required – simply turn up whenever convenient. Join as a complete beginner at any class, and learn: – How to meditate, and balance your inner being – About chakras, and techniques to cleanse them – How to feel, and decode the condition of your energy centers – How to give self-realisation to others At the meeting, there will be no bending and stretching type physical exercises – participants will be seated comfortably throughout. The classes are conducted in a relaxed setting, and have a friendly atmosphere. Sahaja Yoga meditation is natural and easy. A structured guided meditation is always included. In this way, you will both experience meditation, and be able to start meditating at home from the first day you start. The general format of each meeting will be as follows: - Introduction – suitable for complete beginners - A detailed talk on an aspect of meditation - Guided meditation session – no prior experience required; and you will experience the state of meditation for yourself - A ‘workshop’ – the opportunity to focus on specific chakras, increase one’s experience of vibratory awareness, and learn about and practise giving ‘self-realisation’ to another person. We are all volunteers of a charity organisation, and have many years of experience offering free Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes. 10 Reasons to try out Sahaja Yoga Meditation in Houston in 2018: It’s easy. You don’t have to spend years living in the mountains to achieve enlightenment. You don’t have to give up anything or spend weeks in silence. You don’t have to learn mantras or wear special clothes or even try to clear my mind. The meditation simply happens spontaneously. The classes are easy and fun, and as long as you keep up your daily ten minutes of meditation you find you are able to achieve a deep and peaceful meditation on a regular basis. It’s free. You don’t pay for your meditation. There are no catches, and there are no hidden expenses. If you missed attending classes one week, it doesn’t matter. You just picked up the classes again when you could manage it. It is simply the generosity of spirit of other Sahaja Yoga meditation practitioners that allows Sahaja Yoga to be taught to whomever desires it, at no cost. You can see results. You feel relaxed and you feel a deep sense of calm. Now you can also feel your chakras (energy centres) and through the meditation techniques learnt along the way you can understand the vibrations of your own energy centres. If you feel unwell you meditate and use the techniques you’ve learnt to heal your chakras, and you can then feel the centres clearing, and as a consequence your health improves. It’s all-inclusive. All the major religions and their core teachings are acknowledged and respected in Sahaja Yoga. No one’s spiritual journey is right or wrong. And through meditation the wisdom of all the great gurus and saints is easily revealed and understood. In fact, you’ll find that since you’ve been meditating you’ll come to understand and appreciate the teachings of great teachers such as Lao Tse, Buddha and Mohammed. You’re your own boss.
