Have you heard about ecstatic dance and are curious to find out what the buzz is all about? Would you like to explore the deep and profound therapeutic potential ecstatic dance can offer on many different levels?
Perhaps you just love to move with the music in a safe and beautiful space without the usual club and alcohol scene.
Some teachers say that ecstatic dance is the feminine expression of yoga. Ecstatic dance is for sure a fast and relative easy way to get out of your busy mind and connect with you entire body. This is total freeform movement with some cues for optional breath and simple movements that may help to get you deeper into the experience of Pure Being.
It is a simple fun activity for every age or gender and body type or fitness level. You can do ecstatic dance by yourself or bring a friend, family or partner. Come as you are, dress as you want. You can move around a lot, or a little. Ecstatic dance flows organically and in the end always brings us together as one beautiful human tribe, one step at a time. Dance ends with Shavasana, and there’s some time included to socialize after with a complementary refreshment.
Marianne Baum always enjoyed music and dancing but really found a new passion when she discovered Ecstatic Dance in 2018. Immediately she joined training, got certified as a teacher and has been facilitating ever since.
