Hello Edtech,
Hope you are well. The feedback we get from the Edtech community is that Demos are one of the favorite meetups. This month we are organizing yet another demo night. The meetup will be at ALX, 7th floor, Pine tree plaza, Kamburu road.
We have great speakers lined up for the Demo Night.
- Penina Kimani, Sproutfy is an education technology platform that drives student excellence by enhancing collaboration between parents, teachers and administrators through the automation of student learning and administrative activities.
- Eric Nyamwaro, a Metis Fellow working on a project to provide a systemic, coherent and safe space that brings together different players in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) from the public, private, academia and non state actors so as to make STEM education accessible to all children in Kenya, both in and out of school.
- John Eyagi Shivisi, a Metis Fellow working on a project to build entrepreneurial leadership in out-of-school youth while co-creating sustainable value-based solutions to community challenges.
- Rukia Sebit, another Metis fellow who seeks to support existing schools to invest in girls education and leadership through after-school programming, and fight for institutional and policy change to create a more equitable and peaceful world.
- Jonathan Kibe, an alumnus of the African Leadership Academy. He is presenting the Love Project, an initiative that bolsters mental and emotional health in African communities.
The charges are KES 300, to be sent on Mpesa to Jenn cotter (Number to be shared on email).
