Hi everyone, Let’s travel to these dream destinations, Hawaii, New Zealand, Tahiti, Fidji, Easter Island… without the 30-hour flight! How? Thanks to the very cool Quai Branly Museum, and its current exhibition dedicated to Oceania! (exhibition is bilingual) To make this late afternoon even more fun, we’re meeting everyone at a great new breathy café and we’ll go after the visit for more drinks (cocktails?!) by the river!!! About the exhibition: The Oceania exhibition at the Quai Branly Museum celebrates the 250th anniversary of James Cook's first trip to the Pacific. The exhibition begins with a presentation of the archipelagos with the presentation of two magnificent canoes essential for trade. While Australia and New Zealand alone account for 70% of the population of Oceania, the populations of New Caledonia, Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji, Guam, Papua New Guinea or even Cook Island (17,000 inhabitants) are the guardians of strong traditions and artistic identities. The Musée du Quai Branly presents 500 years of tradition common to archipelagos, a tradition marked by religious rites and those related to nature. Definitely an exhibition to help us choose which island to go to on your next sabbatical trip, or honeymoon!!! Hahaha! This great exhibition is about to end, so let’s not miss it! It is only 10/12 Euros for the entrance. The plan is to meet at 6pm for an afternoon drink in a great terrasse café, then enjoy the exhibition, then head to the river quays for more drinks by the water! After such an exhibition we should be in the mood for exotic cocktails!!! Bring the malibu!!!:) Looking forward to this great Saturday plan! Aurelei PS: please RSVP yes if you relally plan to come thank u
