He is also a graduate of David Mamet Atlantic Theatre Company’s two year program. He found out quickly that the only drama he likes is his own, so he quit doing plays and auditioning and dove fully into improv. This is where he learned his most important lesson to this day, and that is: to BOMB! NIGHT AFTER NIGHT! Being the real ass dude he is, he thought it was rude to take all those innocent improvisers with him, so he started doing open mic stand up all over NYC. That was 2011 — flash forward to today: Aaron Putnam is a Chicago-based comic and the founder of Stand Up in Recovery where comics put on shows at recovery centers across the country. He has opened for Doug Stanhope, Erik Griffin, Robert Kelly, and many more. At this point you might be saying “I wanna know about the DRAMA, the RECOVERY, etc.” The truth is on paper and it’s downright scary, but when told on stage, through a mic — hilarious. Zako Ryan Zako Ryan is a “nothing is off limits” comic rising through the ranks in the Chicago comedy scene. A well balanced combination of grit and charm derived from his dirt road, southern upbringing, rooted in Beaufort, South Carolina. Zako has spent the majority of his adult life moving all around the country giving him a unique library of material on cultural differences, relationships, and social issues. A former military vet, college graduate, and Engineer, Zako is now a full-time actor/comedian/personal trainer who can be seen putting on shows all over Chicago and performing all over the country. Most notably Zako is a producer at the Laugh Factory and the host of the hit, roast battle show, “Burnt”. Zako’s comedy credits include Zanies, Laugh Factory, The Comedy Bar, Improv, The World Series of Comedy and the House of Blues. He has been called “great” by few, “pretty good” by most, and “tall” by all. Whitney Chitwood Whitney Chitwood is a stand-up comedian who will stand-up to moderately dangerous things. (Not a bear, though. Whit'll run away from those. But who wouldn't? Poor bears.) With an audacious, highly personal style, Whit has left audiences... Full disclosure: Whit struggles to write in the third person. It just feels vapid and hollow, but mostly it sounds silly to me... I mean “to Whit”... WHIT means “to Whit”. See what I mean? I mean, “what Whit means”. WHIT means, “what Whit means”. Damn... Whitney just hopes audiences leave saying, “I never thought of that,” or “That was witty,” or “Look out! There’s a bear!” (We’ve got to keep on top of this, folks.)
