About

Note: Meetup now requires me to list an event host or I can't publish an event. Being listed as the host does not mean I am attending. If I am going to attend I will RSVP that I am going and will give more specific information as to when and where to meet. In absence of a host please plan to communicate with others who sign up and organize yourselves as to when and where to meet to share this unique Portland Adventure. Bank of America's Museums on Us® One Free Regular Admission every first full weekend of every month in 2018 for Bank of America & Merrill Lynch Cardholder. Participating Portland Oregon Locations are: Portland Art Museum (http://portlandartmuseum.org/) Portland Children's Museum (http://www.portlandcm.org/) Portland Japanese Garden (http://japanesegarden.com/) To qualify, simply present your active Bank of America® or Merrill Lynch® credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain one free general admission to any participating institution. Cardholders only; guests are not eligible for free admission. Excludes special exhibitions, ticketed shows and fundraising events. With qualifying identification, customers can enjoy one free general admission on the first full weekend of every month. Museum hours and participation varies. Sign up for monthly emails or text-message reminders. (Entrance to special exhibits may be excluded.) [You are welcome to come even if you are not a Bank of America/Merrill Lynch Card Holder - but you will have to pay for your admission. Please notify me if you know of any other free admission programs so I can add that information here.] How to meetup for the museum - this event will require some effort on your part to organize yourself and others from the meetup group. Please follow these steps: • RSVP that you are interested in going. Please only RSVP if you are actually planning to go. If you are just thinking about it, DO NOT RSVP. Information that you may or may not show up is worthless. • Add a comment in the comment section on the event page giving your suggested time of arriving and a suggested meeting place. If you are going to be waiting in a place where there are a lot of people, like on the stairs in front of the museum, try to give some detail that will identify you, like you will be wearing a red hat, something unique. • Check the meetup page regularly to see if other people have also indicated they want to go and make an effort to contact these other people. •Use the links on Meetup to message other interested people an organize a time and place to meet. Share your cell phone number in a private message. EXCHANGING CELL PHONE NUMBERS IS THE BEST WAY TO INSURE THAT YOU FIND EACH OTHER AT THIS EVENT.
