Library! at Cole & Ustick - Boise, ID
7557 W Ustick Rd
You're invited to a relaxing Sound Bath, part of our ongoing Soundwell at the Library afternoon series (2pm start). Experience the amazing and relaxing sounds created by our Crystal Singing Bowls, gong, drums and other vibrational instruments. Sit or lie back and relax while the music washes around and through you. Participants find our Sound Baths to be very effective in helping them relax and feel revitalized! RSVP now and receive a reminder so you don't miss it. No cover charge. Donations are accepted. Venue: Sagebrush Room at the Cole/Ustick Library is a large carpeted room with plenty of chairs and floor space. If you wish to lie down (recommended) bring a pad or mat, blanket, cushion, whatever you need to be comfortable. The sound portion will last about 45 minutes and you're welcome to stay and socialize after. Please note: This event is not recommended for pre-adults. Young people's physiological needs are different than adults and they're usually bored by the sounds and vibrations we offer. Our intent is to create a peaceful meditative environment where each participant may be free to have their own experience. Soundwell is an improvisational music and sound experience, generated by Debby and Gordon Rosenberg. Crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs and other vibrational instruments are merged to create a powerful "sound pool" which helps listeners access a deep state of relaxation and typically leaves them feeling refreshed and recharged afterwards. For Gordon, Soundwell is the culmination of 4 decades of research and work with relaxation, sound and energy practices, including holding classes and events in the 3 western states. Debby and Gordon got together in Oregon in 2005, and moved to Boise in 2014. They enjoy bringing you their positive vibrations in public "sound baths", as well as individual sessions and small groups in their well-equipped sound studio.
