About

Our last session before the long summer break! Sunday Writers’ Club is a fun, unique and rewarding experience new to Vienna. For all of the emerging writers, frustrated writers, occasional writers, hopeful writers – this is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people and enjoy the creative buzz of getting words on the page. What we offer Sunday Writers’ Club offers inspirational one-hour creative writing sessions in a variety of Vienna’s culture-rich cafes. At each creative writing session, you will receive our exclusive cafe ‘menu’ of writing prompts carefully prepared to stimulate your imagination and inspire creativity. You will not only have fun and improve your writing through exploring the prompts, the journey just might lead you on to your next big writing project! Who we are Sunday Writers’ Club is run by two professional writers who, between them, have a wealth of experience when it comes to coaching, mentoring and nurturing writers. Paul Malone is a creative writing workshop coach, the brains Creative Writing On The Go, a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and he has written short stories for publications in Australia, the UK and the USA. Keith Gray is an award-winning author, a book reviewer and an editor originally from the UK who has published over twenty books and had his novels translated into a dozen languages. Both Keith and Paul also offer writing workshops. More about the Sunday Writers' Club here: https://sundaywritersclub.wordpress.com/ A few helpful tips for joining a session: Make sure you book. Bring along something to write on. Bring along the correct cash amount for payment. You’ll recieve one of our “menus” of creative writing prompts upon payment. Keep in mind the creative writing sessions are held in cafes–the waiters will be expecting to take at least drink orders. Each participant is responsible for paying their own bill from the waiter. Although the sessions run for an hour, you are more than welcome to stay on after to chat or share your writing with other participants. We kick off each session on the hour. Please try and arrive around 10 minutes earlier. Don’t forget to bring along your smile! We really look forward to creative writing with you!
