Meet at car park in front of Farmers' Market. I have been given permission by Killruddery Estate to bring my group onto the estate to walk its trails and forest paths and formal gardens, with a ramble up onto the shoulder of the Little Sugar Loaf. This is a 850-acre estate comprising farmland, forestry, and formal gardens, and has been home to the Brabazon family since 1618 - the present head of the family, John Anthony Brabazon, holds the title, 15th Earl of Meath. Located on the outskirts of Bray, this beautiful and charming estate lies on the western side of the valley between the Little Sugar Loaf and Bray Head, and is one of the gems of County Wicklow. It was a film location for scenes from PS I love You, The Tudors, My Left Foot, and Far and Away, amongst others. Great views from elevated points onto the neighbouring hills.
