Fri, Apr 19, 2019 at 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Morgan Territory Road Staging Area - Livermore, CA
HIKE DESCRIPTION: Morgan Territory is one of my favorite parks in spring. The wildflowers are spectacular. It’s also a very special place, with evidence of Native-American occupation everywhere. We will leave promptly at the start time and should be finished by 1 pm. If you run into trouble the morning of the hike, you can try to reach me at 510-390-5817, but many staging areas have poor cell service. WHAT TO BRING: Bring lunch or enough snacks to keep you going, plenty of water, a hat, sunscreen, and hiking poles if you use them. It can be chilly up there in the morning, so dress in layers. We’ll stop along Stone Corral Trail for a lunch break. HIKE RATING: Moderate - 7.5 Miles, 1200 feet of climbing. HIKING PACE: 2.5-3 Mph.
