Join Susan Warner for this JIN SHIN JYUTSU Self-Help class SERIES, Book 1 and Book 2, offered on 2 consecutive Wednesday evenings in June. Book 1 (beginning level) will be taught on Wednesday, June 12 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm Book 2 (Safety Energy Locks) will be taught on Wednesday, June 19 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm (Note: A total of 3 Books make up the self-help series, and the class for Book 3 will be offered in the near future) Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) is an ancient hands-on healing art for harmonizing the life energy that circulates within and around each of us. Jin Shin Jyutsu helps to open and balance this flow of life energy, promoting optimal health and well-being, & supporting one's own profound healing capacity. In the Book 1 class you will learn about: - the history and philosophy of this healing art - how to work with your fingers and your breath to help harmonize the different organ function flows in the body - the "attitudes" that can cause imbalances in our energy flows, and how to help to restore balance In the Book 2 class you will learn about: - the 26 Safety Energy Locks (SELs) - where they are located on the body - how the SELs alert us to disharmony in our energy system - how to work with each of them to help keep them open and the energy flowing more freely throughout the body. Both of these classes are "experiential" hands-on classes, and we will be practicing on ourselves, learning how to help create and maintain more harmony and balance in our own energy system and how to keep the Safety Energy Locks open and free of congestion. Jin Shin Jyutsu engages you in "self-study", empowering you to discover the wisdom of your own body and to use this understanding to help restore balance and harmony to your mind, body, spirit. The goal is for you to get to know yourself on a deeper, more energetic level. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE is required for the Book 1 class, just an open mind, your own two hands, and your breath. The Book 1 class is a prerequisite for the Book 2 class. PLEASE NOTE: Participants are requested to bring some type of soft pad, like a quilt, sleeping bag, or thick blanket for comfort, and pillows for supporting the arms, as we will by lying on the floor for most of the hands-on practice time while learning how to connect with our energy flows, and you will want to be as comfortable as possible. You may also want to bring a container of water. If you are not able to get up and down easily or lie on the floor comfortably, accommodations can be made for sitting in a chair for the practice time. PRE-REGISTRATION and PAYMENT of class fee are REQUIRED to hold your spot for this class series, and this can be done by contacting Susan Warner at 913-544-6295 or RadiantLightWellness@gmail.com. The deposit is non-refundable, but transferable to a later class date, if necessary, depending on the reason. Class size is limited to 6 students, so early registration and payment is recommended. The exact location for the class in Lenexa will be given when you register. COST of this 2-class series is $120 ($60 for Book 1 class & $60 for Book 2 class) Self-Help Books 1 and 2 will be available for purchase at class for $15 each, and a Safety Energy Lock poster will be available for $5.
