JULY NOTE: July's event (only) will be held the ****2d Friday of the month (July 12)**** not the 1st Friday because of the holiday weekend. Also, there will be NO event in August. We resume in September (9/6). Vegan Night at the downtown location (only) of Theo & Stacy's is available the FIRST FRIDAY of every month, from 4pm - 8pm. Join us! NOTE: there is usually an informal get-together of Vegan Kalamazoo members at around 6 pm, and anyone is welcome to join us. (Please leave a comment or message if you would like to, so we can be sure to meet up.) MENU As always, subject to change. Asterisk indicates the dish is gluten free. All vegan dishes prepared on their own grill, to minimize cross-contamination. STARTERS Saganaki $7 A beautiful vegan take on a Greek classic. Made with biocheese, this saganaki is crispy and golden on the outside, and wonderfully gooey on the inside. Served with lemon wedges and warm pita bread. Grape Leaves* $6 Cold grape leaves stuffed with seasoned rice and served with lemon. Mediterranean Vegan Bruschetta $7 Tomatoes, Kalamata olives, vegan feta and an array of spices served on our crispy pita. Skordalia $5 A thick purée in Greek cuisine traditionally made by combining crushed garlic with potatoes and then beating olive oil in to make a smooth emulsion. Served with warm pita bread. SOUP AND SALADS Greek Salad* $7 A traditional Greek Salad with greens, tomato, cucumber, red onion, Kalamata olives, vegan feta, pepperoncini. Served with our homemade Greek dressing. Tossed Salad* $5 A tossed salad with greens, tomato, red onions, cucumbers & vegan shredded cheese. Beet Salad $7 This traditional Greek beet salad will have you fighting for seconds it's so good! Earthy boiled red beets, minced garlic, Greek olive oil, red wine vinegar, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper combine to make a delicious salad. Served with a small side of Skordalia and pita. ENTREES all include salad or soup Briam $12 Briam is a traditional Greek roasted vegetable dish with potatoes, zucchini, snipped green beans, eggplant, tomatoes, and red onions with olive oil. Spanakopita $15 An authentic and popular Greek dish made with a vegan twist. Rich and flaky layered phyllo filled with spinach, onions, vegan cheese and herbs served with baby red skin potatoes. Impossible Burger Mousaka $15 A delicious Greek lasagna made with the Impossible ground patty, eggplant and potato and vegan bechamel sauce. Impossible Burger Pastitsio $15 A traditional Greek lasagna made with the Impossible ground patty with layered pasta and vegan bechamel sauce. Greek Combination Plate $18 A combination of our traditional pastitsio and mousaka served with baby red potatoes. DESSERT Baklava $4 A traditional sweet Grek vegan dessert! A sweet dessert with chopped nuts layered in phyllo dough and finished with a vegan syrup.
