The After-work "Peaceful Hour" will be one hour or less, depending on what you need. SCHEDULE 6:00-6:05 Sign-in & confirm acknowledgement of waiver review 6:05-6:15 Opening Circle - Introductions and Labyrinths 6:15-6:30 Walk the labyrinth in silence at your own pace 6:30-6:40 Group Photo & Closing Circle 6:40-7:00 Open time to walk labyrinth again, sit and reflect on the benches or leave... whatever you need! A LABYRINTH IS... "a winding path that leads to a central space and then out again by the same path." "is not a maze." "a circle and a spiral, each a powerful and ancient symbol of unity, wholeness and transformation." - quoted from the Interfaith Labyrinth handout This event will be rescheduled if it rains. WHAT TO BRING Comfortable shoes for doing a short walk on paved surfaces. Dress for the temperature for you to be comfortable Optional: Cash if you wish to make a donation for labyrinth maintenance. There are donation envelopes on site. OTHER INFO The church may or may not be open, so assume you will not have access to restrooms while on the grounds. Wheelchair accessible. The labyrinth walk is best experienced as a time of silence, however, what you do in that silence is up to you. If you choose to enter the space, please choose to respect the silence, for the benefit of yourself and others (leave phones in the car or noisy guests at home/the office).
