South Idaho APA Pool Leagues is excited to announce their Junior’s Program! Allow your child age 7 – 17 the opportunity to learn sportsmanship, patience, comradery, diligence and the skill it takes to play billiards. Junior’s Academy will use the same patented skill level handicap system used in Adult Leagues since the 70’s to ensure that EVERY child can play, and ANY child can win! FORMAT: 9-Ball skill level races where we will play either teams or singles (based on number of students) PER STUDENT FEES: $140 (covers everything listed below from January – May) Contact Charice at (208) 573-7578 to sign up or for questions. Online Registration: https://southidaho.apaleagues.com/CustomPage.aspx?q=9095 Sign up online or submit registration form and dues to the address below (make checks payable to South Idaho APA) South Idaho APA PO Box 786 Nampa, ID 83651 Fee Breakdown & What’s Included: $100 per Student per 10-week session includes: • A half hour lesson before league broken down by age and/or skill level (1 instructor per 8 kids) • 9-Ball league matches each class • League play 1 – 2 weeks per month (1pm to 3pm -See schedule on back) • Recognition rewards for all students at the end of session Awards Banquet • Eligibility to compete in State Championships (must have 10 lifetime & 4 matches in Spring session) • Eligibility to all other Junior’s tournaments • State Championship winner travel fund to the National Juniors Championships (St. Louis, MO) • Travel assistance includes (subject to money raised through league dues & fund raisers): o Flight to St. Louis for advancing children o Hotel room for National Junior Championships (guardian/child double occupancy) o Additional travel funds will be used toward Guardian’s travel assistance, where available $30 per Student Green Fee includes: • Table use during lesson, matches & tournaments • Note: Parents may be asked by host location to pay for practice time before, or after class $10 per Student for the APA Junior’s Membership The Idaho State Juniors Championship is an annual singles tournament for Juniors active in league during spring session who have 10+ matches by tournament date in May. Winner will advance to Nationals. APA National Junior Championship is an annual event in July, which allows kids to compete for larger prizes. Have Questions?
